Why Choose our SEND Support Service?
Annual SEND Audit
In the first year of your subscription, an expert consultant will conduct an in-depth, onsite SEND audit at your school to examine your SEND provision and make recommendations. In addition to reviewing your policies and processes, the audit will involve taking feedback from: school leaders, parents of SEND children, children and other relevant stakeholders. In subsequent years, we will re-audit your school to assess and advise on progress made towards these recommendations.
SENDCO Mentoring and Support
Mentoring may involve informal conversations to promote reflection on practice or to support the development of more specific areas of SEND. The impact on the quality of provision through mentoring can be significant.
SEND Documentation Review
In the first year of your subscription, at your request, we shall carry out an in-depth review of statutory policies and documentation related to SEND. Where policies are unsuitable or outdated, we shall draft new or update existing policies, with a view to ensuring these documents are appropriate to your school and fit for purpose. A documentation review is completed within two weeks of request.
SEND Newsletter and updates
Usually once per term, the school will receive a newsletter which may include relevant updates to guidance or frameworks and best practice recommendations.
Unlimited Strategic SEND advisory service
Our friendly and supportive SEND experts are available during working hours for unlimited SEND strategic advice by email or telephone. We can assist with looking at how to improve outcomes and close the gap for pupils with SEND, helping to set SEND priorities, supporting your SENDCO to strategically respond to your areas of need, providing SENDCO development and support and discussing how to make SEND a whole-school issue.
Live Training
We will deliver one live training session (in person or online) to a group of strategic leaders of your school, either governors or SLT, per annum. In the second year, we shall deliver training to the second group. Additional live training is available at a discounted rate. Where your school is part of a Multi Academy Trust, the training may be shared with other schools in the Trust. All of our training is CPD accredited.
Online eLearning
All schools have unlimited access for all staff to our library of CPD accredited SEND courses. These currently include: For SENDCOs - Maximising the use of Tas; For teaching staff - Identifying SEND; and For Tas - Supporting children with SEND (foundational).
